In this course I have experimented with various techniques of illustration: from pencils to watercolors acrylic. The final delivery consisted of a study on the illustration of Hansel & Gretel, starting from the explorations of characters and locations to obtain to the finished illustrations. For the final project, I decided to work with the colored pencil and Ecoline. The idea was to give an effect as close as possible to the traditional type of illustration. I did not want something that is totally detached from the tradition of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale.
